Sūrat Al-Nisāʾ · 4 : 160

مِّنَ اَ۬لذِينَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَهُمْ عَن

Because of the wrongdoing of the Jews We forbade them good things which were (before) made lawful unto them, and because of their much hindering from Allah's way — Pickthall

The āya above is Warsh ʿan Nāfiʿ, the rasm of the printed edition. The root behind each underlined word comes from a Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim corpus, realigned to this Warsh text word by word; 125 of the 6,236 āyāt differ in word count between the two riwāyāt, and those were aligned rather than assumed. A word carries no underline where the corpus supplies no root. Lexicon entries are a reading aid and carry no page reference; the edition does not cite them. بل يأتي وليا ليس له استقلال. النبي مستقل والولي تابع، وهو إذا جاء آخر الزمان يكون وليا تابعا لا نبيا مستقلا، فيحشر أبو بكر وعمر بين نبيين، هذا من مزاياهما. «فَبِظَلِّمٍ فِيَ أَلذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَتِ أَحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَى سَبِيلِ اِللَّهِ كَثِيراً وَأخْذِهِمُ أَلرِّبَوا وَا.
