اَ۬لذِينَ كَمَا هَٰذَا وَمَا

Who took their religion for a sport and pastime, and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this day We have forgotten them even as they forgot the meeting of this their Day and as they used to deny Our tokens — Pickthall

The āya above is Warsh ʿan Nāfiʿ, the rasm of the printed edition. The root behind each underlined word comes from a Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim corpus, realigned to this Warsh text word by word; 125 of the 6,236 āyāt differ in word count between the two riwāyāt, and those were aligned rather than assumed. من أصحاب النار (يَعْرِبُونَهُمْ بِسِيبِيْهُمْ قَالَواْ مَآ أَغْنبى عَنْكُمْ) من النار (جَمْعَكُمْ ) المال أو كثرتكم (وَمَا كَنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْيِرُونَ) استكباركم عن الإيمان فيقولون لهم مشيرين إلى ضعفاء المسلمين ( أَهَّوْلَاءِ الذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لا يَنَالَهُمْ اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ قد قيل لهم وأدْخُلُواْ ألْجَنَّةَ لا خَوْفُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ) وقُرئ أُدخلوا بالبناء (وَنَادِيّ أَصْحَبٌ أَلبَارِ أَصْحَبَ الْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَمِيضُواْ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ ألْمَاءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ من الطعام قَالُواْ إِنَّ أللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى الْكَفِرِينَ) أهل النار مع شدة العذاب اشتد عليهم الجوع والعطش حتى طلبوا من أهل الجنة أن يفيضوا عليهم من الماء أو شيء من الأكل ®ألذِيسَ إتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوا وَلَعِباً وَغَرَتْهُمُ الْحَيَوَةُ الدُّنْيَا فَالْيَوْمَ نَنسِيهُمْ ) نتركهم في النار وكَمَا نَسُوا) كما تركوا (لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَذَا)
