Sūrat Al-Aʿrāf · 7 : 74

إِذْ مِنۢ فِے مِن وَلَا فِے

And remember how He made you viceroys after A'ad and gave you station in the earth. Ye choose castles in the plains and hew the mountains into dwellings. So remember (all) the bounties of Allah and do not evil, making mischief in the earth — Pickthall

The āya above is Warsh ʿan Nāfiʿ, the rasm of the printed edition. The root behind each underlined word comes from a Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim corpus, realigned to this Warsh text word by word; 125 of the 6,236 āyāt differ in word count between the two riwāyāt, and those were aligned rather than assumed. وجب (عَلَيْكُم صِ رَبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ) عذاب (وَغَضَبُّ ٱتَّجَدِ لُونَنِ فِى أَسْمَاءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا() سميتم بها ( أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُم) أصناما تعبدونها (مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا بعبادتها ص سُلْطَبٌ) حجة وبرهان ( جَانتَظِرُوا) العذاب (إِنّى مَعَكْم مِنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينُ) ذلك بتكذيبكم لي، فأرسلت عليهم الريح العقيم ( أَنجَيْنَه هودا ({وَالذِيرَ مَعَهُ ) من المؤمنين {بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنَّا وَفَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ الذِيرَ كَذَّبُواْ بِايَتِنَا استأصلناهم (وَمَا كَانُوا مُومِنِينٌ وَ أرسلنا {إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَلِحاً قَالَ يَقَوْمِ لعْبُدُواْ للَّهَ مَا لَكْم مٍ إِلَهِ غَيْرَةٌ فَدْ جَآءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ معجزة (م رَبِّكُمْ) على صدقي هَٰذِهِ نَافَةُ اللَّهِ لَكْمُ و عَايَةً) قالوا له إنهم لا يؤمنون به حتى تتمخض تلك الهضبة وتلد ناقة مرضعة، فتمخضت الهضبة وهم ينظرون حتى نفست كما تنفس النساء ناقة عشراء خرجت وخرج فصيلها معها، قال لهم هذه ناقة الله آية لكم وَذَرُوهَا تَاكّلْ فِحِ أَرْضِ اللَّهُ وَلَا …
